Parlor Trick Comic Archive

Whoa... Our 50th comic. Sequentially, at least. Still an impressive feat! Not to mention, I FINALLY get to show off my upright bass in the comic!!! ^.^ Is true. I own one of those beauties. Best damn investment of my LIFE! And what's more, I've already learned how to stand on it. And what's MORE, I did, in fact, ride on the back of sis' car to our first gig. True story... See, we had parked and were trying to figure out the best way to lug our equipment the final three blocks. Sis already had some stuff in her car, but most of the drums were in mine. Problem... Solution? Load her car to the brim and I hold on for dear life while she drove to the loadig area. ^.^ It was AWESOME! I don't care if she only went 10 mph, I had a blast! Oh, as the show totally kicked ass, too. ...But that's besides the point! I got to ride on the OUTSIDE of a car! ^.^ I'm so cool... I know it.
As for the actual comic; I had a blast this week. Sally had drawn panel 4 ages ago, but we agreed it was completely pheasable for me to just sketch over actual images for panels 1 through 3. A new challenge, indeed! But it was a lot of fun, and I think I did a decent job on the whole.
Well, that's it for now. Next comic might be late or early... Not sure which. But it'll be one of the those as we'll (Sally and I) be at PHILCON!!!!!!!! ^.^ If you're in the Philly area on Sat, come check us out. We'll be speaking on some panels, hanging out, and raising the average Cool level of the crowd by our mere pressence. You know you wanna come. Dü it!
