Having been convinced at a very early age, by a very stupid person, that she could not draw, Sally never pursued her love of art.  So to wind up as the primary artist for a weekly webcomic was quite a shift in reality.  After modeling for several art classes, however, Sally quickly realized that drawing, like any other ability, must be cultivated and trained.  Taking what she heard while trying to ignore three of her four limbs being all pins and needles, Sally produced the image you see to the left here.  Shortly afterwards, she began to draw other people in spider-form and it wasn't long before she was asked what she was going to do with all of these drawings.

"I don't know," she replied.

"You should make a WEBCOMIC out of them!" her brother enthusiastically offered.

"You know...maybe I should!"

...and so, Parlor Trick was born.

Sally and Jo are actually brother and sister and live together in the Philadelphia region.  Sally is the lead singer and Jo is bassist and back-up singer for their real band, RagTag Elite.  To pay the bills,Sally works as a super geek, and Jo works in a pizza parlor, which, while not glamorous, certainly pays well and it allows them to have unnaturally colored hair...among other unorthodox features. 

This comic is based largely on actual events from their lives...unless it's incriminating, in which case it was made it up.
